General terms and conditions of business
1. Basis
The quotation (offered price) and any changes made to it with regard to services become binding only once they bear the client's legal signature.
2. Number of participants
The ordering party undertakes to announce the number of participants as early as possible. Variances of more than 20% must be announced in writing at least 8 weeks before the date of the event. Notice must be given of the definitive number of participants at the latest 5 working days before the event. This number of participants serves as the basis for invoicing. The full costs will be charged for guests who fail to attend the event.
3. Booking cancellation
3.1 If an event which has been definitively booked (a signed quotation) is cancelled, the following
amount of compensation can be claimed:
- 30 to 14 working days before the event, 50% of the last quoted price will be charged.
- 13 to 7 working days before the event, 75% of the last quoted price will be charged.
- From and including the 6th working day before the event, 100% of the last quoted price
will be charged.
3.2 If the stadium management has justified grounds for assuming that the event might jeopardise the smooth business operation, safety or reputation of the Stadion Letzigrund, it is authorised to cancel the booking contract at any time without providing any compensation.
3.3 If the event cannot be held because of an act of God, a change in the programme or by order of the authorities, the Stadion Letzigrund shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract without providing any compensation.
4. Terms of payment
Invoice(s) must be settled within 30 days of the invoice date. The number of participants announced 5 working days in advance serves as the basis for invoicing.
5. Liability for damage
The ordering party is liable for any damage to the rented building/item which is caused by its event participants, performers / artistes, technicians, etc. The Stadion Letzigrund does not accept liability for theft and damage to items of clothing as well as objects brought in to the premises by participants.
6. Further rules and regulations
6.1 The ordering party shall procure all catering and hospitality services from the Stadion Letzigrund.
6.2 All stated prices are valid only until 11.30 p.m. After this time, charges for an extension will be invoiced.
6.3 These General Contractual Conditions are subject to Swiss law. The place of fulfilment and jurisdiction is Zurich. The official house rules of the Stadium Letzigrund are an integral part of the present terms and conditions.
